Okatoma Resort & RV Park - RULES & REGULATIONS

RENTERS - Only those registered at Okatoma Resort & RV Park Office are permitted to accommodate Sites or Cabins unless arrangements for Guests have been made (see “Guests” below).  RV and cabin sites must be free of trash and clutter. No decks to be erected on Site .  Quiet time is between 10:00 p.m. and   8:00 a.m.. Please respect fellow campers. No loud music at any time anywhere in the Park. 

GUESTS - Host camper must obtain permission from management for non-camping guests to swim, fish, or use other amenities of resort, and pay $5.00 per day, per guest (This also includes guests who wish to stay over-night whether using amenities or not). Host camper must be present with guests at all times, whether fishing, hiking or swimming.

SPEED LIMIT - Speed limit is 5 mph within the park. Remember - children and walkers present. Speed limit is 15 mph from entrance to Dog Park, and slow on exit road, using caution at all times.

VEHICLES - No disabled vehicles or expired licensed vehicles are to be parked on resort property.  No more than two (2) vehicles at any site. Guest parking area available in front of pool pavilion. All vehicles must have a current registration and be driven by licensed drivers only.  Renters or Guests are NOT to use golf carts, ATVs or the likes anywhere within the Park.

PETS - Pets are not allowed in buildings or around pool (except service dogs).  Pets must be cleaned up after,  leashed at all times, and not left unattended.  No aggressive dogs permitted in Park. Definition of Dog Aggression: Dog aggression is defined as dangerous behavior directed at another individual, including other animals. This behavior includes barking, biting, lunging, snarling, etc. The cause can range from territorial defensiveness and protectiveness to fear or social anxiety. If your pet has proved to be aggressive after leasing a Site, pet must be removed from Park and you will be required to leave.   

GARBAGE - Place all household garbage in dumpster by the exit road. Do not place your garbage bags in the trash cans around the park and in the pavilions. Please flatten boxes. Dumpster lids must remain closed. Large trash items, furniture, old appliances, must be taken to the county landfill. Please do not place them in the dumpster.  


ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES - Covington County is a dry county. Drinking is allowed at your cabin/campsite only.   No driving under the influence.   

SMOKING - Smoking is not allowed in any building or cabin.  No cigar or cigarette butts are to be left on resort grounds anywhere. Please help us keep the Park clean and liter free, which shows respect and courtesy to others in the Park.     

FIREARMS - No firearms are to be displayed or discharged on resort property. 

SECURITY - Security is provided by Okatoma Resort personnel and the Covington County Sheriff’s Dept. For Medical Emergency call 911. 

LAUNDRY - Coin-operated washers and dryers are available.  Please do not leave clothes unattended.  No clothes lines. DO NOT wash or dry your pets bedding in these machines. No one wants pet hair in their clothes. Use commercial laundry facilities off site for dog bedding and large comforters and blankets.     

POOL - Pool is open May - September 30:  10 a.m. – 8 p.m. No Lifeguard on duty. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18 or over) at all times. No cutoff jeans or street clothes.   Babies must wear swim diapers.  No running, pushing, shoving in pool area.  No diving in pool.   No alcoholic beverages. No glass containers or food inside fenced pool area.  Smoking in designated area only.  No pets in pool, pool fenced in area, or in pool pavilion (accept service dogs). Guests at Pool – See above “Guests”.  

FISHING LAKES - Catch and release Bass.  Limit other fish to ten per day.  No dogs in lakes.  No boats on lakes.  No swimming or wading in lakes. For Guests to fish in lakes – See above “GUESTS”.
